Wow. WIttgenstein was a freak.

As a student of Continental Philosophy, the Tractus is a Trip.

Has anyone read this yet?

Wittgenstein definitely is not a Continental even the later stuff. The guys that followed in Wittgenstein's footsteps, like the logical positivists and the vienna circle, were the guys who would go up to continentals and say, "I don't understand what you are saying, your words have no meaning." But don't worry, later Wittgenstein in the Philosophical Investigations will come back and bitch-slap all that talk. He won't go completely Continental but he will drastically alter the initial impression one gets from the Tractatus.
